Chapter 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, consists of only one section, which is Section 144. This section mentions the authority of the Zila Nazim to maintain peace and address urgent cases of public nuisance.

5. Order period:	آرڈر زیادہ سے زیادہ دو دن یا سات دن تک نافذ رہے گا، جب تک صوبائی حکومت دوسری ہدایت نہ دے۔
6 . Local government elections:	اگر مقامی حکومت کے انتخابات نہیں ہوئے، تو ڈسٹریکٹ کوآرڈینیشن آفیسر کی طرف اشارہ کیا جائے گا۔
7. Order in emergency situations:	اگر حالات نوٹس دینے کی اجازت نہیں دیتے، تو آرڈر بغیر کسی فریق کی موجودگی (ex parte) جاری کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
