Rule 134. Duty of Every Advocate
- Every advocate must:

Article 135. Soliciting Professional Employment
• An advocate shall not:
➥ Solicit professional employment by advertisement or any other means.
• This clause does not prohibit:
➥ The publication or use of ordinary professional cards.
➥ The use of name plates or conventional listing in directories.
• The information must be limited to:
➥ Professional and academic qualifications.
➥ Public offices currently held.
➥ No matter that suggests personal advertisement.
Article 136. Employment of Others For Soliciting Professional Employment
- An advocate shall not:

Article 138. Communication With Judge or Judicial Officer
- An advocate shall not:
➥ Communicate with or argue before a judge or judicial officer in the absence of the opposing counsel. - This communication is only permitted:

➥ Upon the merits of a contested matter pending before the judge or judicial officer. - An advocate must:
➥ Provide the opposing advocate with a copy of any written communication addressed to the judge or judicial officer concerning the merits of a contested matter. - This rule does not apply to:

Article 139. Client’s Offer Of Assistance Of Additional Advocates

Article 143. Respect Among Members
- Junior and younger members should:

Article 144. Leadership In Cases
- When more than one advocate is engaged on any side:
