Registration Announcement

Registration Deadline

- Signup to the HEC portal using CNIC and by email.

Test Date of LAW GAT 2024
The Law GAT 4th Test date was Sunday, 15 December 2024. The test was conducted in multiple major cities across Pakistan. Such as Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad , Multan , and others.
LAW GAT Test Format
The Law GAT test is structured to assess the candidate’s knowledge of law and related subjects. The paper consisted of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering the following subjects:
- Constitutional History of Pakistan (Case Law)
- Jurisprudence
- Civil Procedure Code
- Criminal Law
- Law of Evidence
- Professional Ethics
Candidates were required to secure at least 50% marks to pass the test. This passing score is mandatory for obtaining enrolment in the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) as an advocate.
Test Day Guidelines
To ensure a smooth test day experience, the following guidelines were provided:
- Admit Card: Candidates were required to bring a printed copy of their admit card, available for download from the ETC HEC portal.
- CNIC or Passport: A valid CNIC or passport was mandatory for identification.
- Arrival Time: Candidates were instructed to arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time.
- Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, calculators, and any other electronic devices were strictly prohibited inside the test center.
- Stationery: Students were advised to bring a black or blue ballpoint pen.
